2025 - ongoing
Night Archive was photographed at Napoleonkai, a former Berlin landfill where construction waste is excavated and redistributed into towering heaps of stone and debris. Once a site of burial and toxic accumulation, the landscape now continuously exposes and reshapes its own scarred ground. As the site undergoes ongoing transformation, excavators continue to reshape the terrain, displacing stone, soil and buried waste. The landscape remains unstable and in flux, appearing altered with each return.
The series follows nocturnal encounters between body, soil and excavated matter. Moving through the site at night, the images position the body as both witness and participant within a landscape suspended between concealment and exposure, erosion and transformation.
